Currently, I am unpublished and my only produced feature film has been retired after hosting it for years on Vimeo. For now, my work lives on my laptop, in agent inboxes, and in my moon wish journal, where I intend month after month to find the right partners to bring my stories to audiences around the world.
Yes! I started Penny Luck Studio, LLC back in 2019, when I was living in New York, recently laid off from my job as a remote writer/director for a gaming app (ironically, they wanted to stop using remote workers at that time), and looking for a way to stay creative while I slogged through script submissions. Five years later and my highest selling item is still my creating character workbook, but I am always reinventing with new designs, prints, products, and tools to help you on your creative journey.
While independent production is rewarding, low budget films are still quite expensive. Without production partners in the industry, it is very difficult to raise the funds necessary for a professional shoot. As far as self-publishing, though not as prohibitive cost wise, it is still an undertaking I'm not ready to endure just yet. I have dreams of being traditionally published, with a team of agents and managers to help guide my career. If things change, I would consider going the independent route on both fronts.
Yes! Whether you want to talk craft, process, or even yoga and spirituality, I'd love to share my thoughts with you. As a filmmaker and writer, I've given feedback to many other creatives on their project and would feel at home talking about screenplay structure, pacing, dialogue, and the myriad of ways you can go about writing a novel.
