I want you to be beaming about your new piece of artwork, which is why it is so important to me that I provide you as much information as possible before you reach check out. Please read below on how I can help you!
All sales of Original Artwork are final. If you wish to return a reproduction print, a restocking fee equivalent to 15% of the original price of the print (+ varnish when applicable) will be charged to the customer. I am more than happy to exchange a print for another size or piece, but the restocking fee will still apply. I don't keep prints in stock + all reproductions are made to order, so I don't take up precious work space in the studio + you're sure to get a pristine print delivered to your door!
Please be sure to open + inspect your prints as soon as you receive them! You may return or exchange your print within 7 days of receipt. Please note that a restocking fee (as mentioned above) will be charged. If you do not reach out within 7 days, I will be unable to process a return or exchange.
You sure can! If you purchased your print within a week of the beginning of a Print Sale, you are entitled to that discount. Please reach out via email with proof of purchase date on your print, + a discount will be retroactively applied to your order.
I will send your replacement artwork / issue refund only after we have communicated via email + I have received your returned artwork.
I ask that you return your artwork in its original packaging. If your artwork came in a tube, it must be returned with both end caps, tape is not a proper substitute for a missing end cap. In order to provide you with an accurate shipping label, the dimensions + weight of the piece must be the same as when we shipped it to you originally. If you do not have the original packaging, please visit your local post office to purchase a stiff mailer or appropriate tube along with postage. Please note, that customers will not be refunded for artwork damaged in the return process. I am unable to restock or sell pieces that have been damaged, so be sure to pack + ship with care!
I am not liable for any mishandling or failed delivery by the shipping service (USPS or UPS domestically or internationally), + I am not liable for any damages incurred post-delivery. I do my best to ship everything in sturdy mailers or tubes so that it arrives to you safely, + I suggest you use the same care when handling, framing, + stretching your print. Because I am not responsible for the treatment of your parcel once it is in transit, please be kind when you reach out with a problem. I'm just as bummed as you are!
Here's what I can do if something does indeed go wrong with your shipment.
Damaged Prints: Please keep in mind that any creases, folds, + the like can be flattened, + while irritating are not a cause for return. If, however, your piece has been damaged in shipping, please reach out with photos of the damages. You may be asked to file a claim with the shipping service. Collectors are responsible for shipping costs of replacement prints. I cannot replace a print that was damaged after it arrived at its final shipping destination, so please take care to keep your artwork away from possible sources of damage.
Not Delivered, Lost, or Stolen: If your package has been marked "Delivered", yet you cannot find your parcel, please first check your order to ensure that you entered the correct shipping address. Then, pleas be sure to check all possible drop off locations at your property, +/or check with your local USPS or UPS branch to inquire about delivery. If your address is incorrect + the print is returned to my studio, I'm happy to ship it to the correct address, but I ask that you pay the postage for reshipment. If you have the correct address + believe your package to be lost, stolen, or that you missed the delivery, please contact your local branch office to make inquiries. Unfortunately, I am unable to reprint for free any artworks that have been lost or stolen or been deemed undeliverable by the shipping service. If you have any further questions, please email me at shop@emilyprescott.com
I do my best to represent colors, textures, + subjects as closely to their real aesthetic as I can. I cannot control the color variations across screens, browsers, etc., so please be sure to read descriptions carefully + consider the print + how it will look in your space prior to purchasing. I am happy to exchange the print for another if you are looking for something different in our space. Please see above for my exchange policy.
