I want to take a minute to say hello and introduce myself. I’d like to share my visions for this little corner of the internet with you.

Let me start by saying it has been a bit of a crazy journey getting here. I’m from the White Mountain region of New Hampshire, where the summers were short, but the beauty was big. I fell in love with storytelling amidst the mountains and trees at my parents’ home. It was the best place to be a kid and let my mind wander.

Even though I leaned toward math and science in school, that wandering led me to film school in the end. I remember seeing Casablanca for the first time when I was sixteen. That film showed me that I wanted to make timeless movies for future generations myself. So, I studied film at Emerson College, and started on my journey toward my dreams. I then went on to receive my MFA in Screenwriting from Chapman University. I left with a mission to make my first film. With a shoestring budget, a bare bones crew, and some excellent friends, I did just that. From there, film took a quieter turn, with time spent writing and building my portfolio.

I believe in Divine Timing and the flow of my life. I’ve been riding the waves of creation and rejection in my filmmaking career so far. All the while, I keep my sights set on fulfilling that dream sparked by Casablanca. As I’ve been writing, submitting, networking, and living in pursuit of my screenwriting dreams, I’ve been honing other aspects of my creative voice.

I’ve always loved drawing, painting, and creating in any medium. Alongside AP calculus I was taking every art class my high school offered. I had a lot of self doubt around my abilities in the fine arts that caused me to always stop pursuing it. Recently, I made the leap to take my day job from bartending and mobile gaming to creative entrepreneurship.

I started my first business with a passion for creating, but also with a deep fear that I wasn’t making what people wanted.

After two years of trying, a pandemic, bartending again, getting married, and suffering the biggest loss of my little 29 year old life, I found myself needing to start all over. It wasn’t about making what people wanted, or being so anxious for it to work that there was no way that it could. It was about honoring my passions and trusting that what’s meant for me will always be mine. Living in a flow with my dreams instead of a desperate pursuit of them.

Cue this website. This brand-spankin’ new blog, shop, and intention to live my life on purpose all over again.

I’m here making this space new with the deep desire to let my whole artistic self shine. I’m here to offer not only my writing, but my paintings, pottery, crafts, and my intuitive abilities.

I’m here to show up as my whole Enneagram 4, generator self, so that maybe you can find a little magic, a little daring, and a little more love in your own life.

I deeply believe that life is what we make it. I also believe that we don’t have to work quite so hard for the universe to show us how amazing it is. We can have our cake and eat it too, by showing up authentically, loving what we do, and expecting miracles.

So, here I am, creating a magical, mystical, creative corner of the world to express myself and connect with you. My hope is that this space becomes a place you go to to find work that speaks to you. It becomes a resource for expressing yourself. And that it becomes a place where you feel supported to dream your biggest dreams; whether that’s through a painting, a blog, or a chat with me.
